Saturday Supper Club - September
This month’s menu observes the changing of seasons. Taking in the last of the bright ripe tomatoes, gentle anise-flavoured fennel and soft flesh fruits and enjoying the paring with nutty, sweet butternut squash and distinctly autumnal roast chestnuts.
Where summer meets autumn is a truly glorious and fruitful time.
Everything is ready for you to reheat at home; all the preparation has been taken care of, just a sprinkling of garnishes and serving before you can enjoy a taste of the late summer sun!

Butternut squash crumble contains pancetta by default but can be removed to make vegetarian.
Fennel and onion caramelised in a balsamic and brandy reduction with feta cheese atop a puff pastry base
Subtly sweet butternut squash and leek baked with a Parmesan, chestnut and herb crust

Ripe tomatoes, capers and basil with sour dough bread doused with olive oil and red wine vinegar.
Crisp green beans, charred nectarines with goats cheese and a warm shallot and balsamic dressing.
